At Lough Allen Adventure Centre, we focus on helping students build connection, confidence, resilience, independence, and teamwork through meaningful outdoor experiences.

As part of our Gaisce philosophy, we involve students in decision-making throughout their expedition. This empowerment teaches responsibility, communication, and leadership — all key elements of the Gaisce Award.

We also support students’ emotional well-being, introducing breathing techniques and stress-management tools woven into the activities and group games. These skills help students feel grounded, calm, and capable during their journey.
